Beware of scamcoins! Premine, instamine, hidden launch – those coins were created in “get rich quick” scheme in order to make money only by their creators and small group involved in instamine or premine.
Do not use these coins, let them fall into limbo. Using them it’s waste of your time and CPU/GPU power.
List of scamcoins – do not use:
- PXC Phenixcoin: premined 1,000,000 coins

Orbitcoin isn’t 66% please check the official release post https://cryptocointalk.com/topic/927-orbitcoin-orb-official-release-thread/
also the pre-mine is been used publicly on their forum anybody can make a post about ORB on another forum and earn 100 ORB.
1 out of 31 isn’t 66% lol and in a time of over 30 crypto coins I think the orb pre-mine will help it gain market share.

What about the new Emony from the company Paymony ?
Is there any news on this one ?
By Uyan Benardis Tien May 16, 2014 - 13:16
Hello Jose, so far I join this in March, and I have faith on it. June 7 will set the company’s first event with a lot of news and surprises regarding the coin, which includes the digital wallet, the paymony’s debit card, and something else that i preffer to leave as a secret. Feel free to keep in touch and ask anything regarding the company.
By BCE May 23, 2014 - 01:36
There’s no such thing as “E-mony”, it isn’t even a scamcoin is a non-existing one.
Paymony as whole is a scam, a ponzi scam to be more specific. The software you run doesn’t generate anything, it’s just a dupe to let you believe you are doing something other than pass your money along the line.

So, what is your opinion on OneCoin – is it one of scam coins or a valid one? The Onecoin network is extending at rapid pace. Will it count as pre-mined if it is not traded at the open market? But it has over 2 mln users as of today.
By mark mcgrath January 21, 2016 - 00:23
Alert. I scrypt mined dvc solved 35 blocks with a share and received nothing. Also someone named markm is paying shares that we mine to developers claiming that there are multiple coins for every share. I submitted millions of shares with cex via ghash and received only two dvc. If the shares were worth multiple coins I’d have millions. One coin represents some 1000000 plus shares. Also I’m aware that miners resubmit the same share repeatedly if one doesn’t switch share retries from -1 which is infinite on cg and bfgminers to 0 or more. I’m afraid people don’t adjust this and r disenfranchised. If I am mistaken let me know. I post as kramth not markm. Thanks.
By mark mcgrath January 21, 2016 - 00:30
PS I solved with one share due to the setting change

so btc was not premined was it….
By admin October 23, 2013 - 15:08
BTC had a fair launch. Everyone could start mining it in 2009. But it was hard to know about it… But it’s not the reason to call it “premined”. People who found out about BTC started to mine it on CPUs and were getting thousands of bitcoins in early stage (2009/2010).
By Titan November 20, 2013 - 03:35
The Luckycoin LKY has long been taken over by a new developer after the original developer disappeared a few days after the launch.
The Luckycoin made random super blocks popular, which are now included in many crypto currencies. There were no special super blocks at the start.
The Luckycoin network has a well maintained infrastructure and the client has been upgraded over the last months with new features and is now at a technical level comparable with Feathercoin or similar crypto currencies.
Please visit the Luckycoin community forum for more information.

Why is Quarkcoin not on this list? With 245 million coins pre-mined it is “The Biggest Loser”.
By graphfox December 5, 2013 - 19:23
Quark is not concentrated in the hands of a few 1000 preminers. This is because of the dynamics that unfolded in the infancy of Quark, it wasn’t valued so much, so on the whole it was traded more than accumulated.
By jj December 13, 2013 - 05:38
totally agree, it’s 99% pre mined, literally. It has the 4th highest market cap which makes it look legit but the figures don’t lie

Thanks for the list. I hope you will update it, since there are probably hundreds more scamcoins since this was published.
A “Fair start” list would also be great to have, and would provide an incentive to new coins to have a fair start and limit the pre-mine.
I think the fairest start coin of all is Unobtanium, UNO. Only 250,000 UNO will ever exist, no pre-mine, and the start was well published on Bitcointalk. A one minute heads-up doesn’t count — UNO gave days. Any coin that wants to be recognized as a fair player and not be pegged as a scamcoin should follow UNO’s example.

you missed hundreds of pre-mines for one, most of them hidden,,
As far as I can tell the coins you list here was upfront about pre-mine for giveaways/services reasons.. your clearly just some but hurt miner that cant tell a scam from a business opportunity.
some of the currencies you call scam here have over 40 real services, I don’t call currencies I can spend a scam LMAO.
