If you don’t have a fast GPU card or an ASIC hardware you can still mine altcoins! There are many of them designed only for CPU mining. You can use your own PC or a VPS server to mine alternative cryptocurrencies designed to be GPU and ASIC resistant.
List of altcoins for CPU mining
For some of these altcoins limited GPU mining is possible with modified software. FPGA or ASIC hardware can be developed at any time.

Hi There,
I am the founder of coinfresh.com, a new altcoin exchange website. I was curious to know what it takes to be mentioned in the exchange list on your wabsite.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Best,

Timekoin should to be listed, it is a RSA 1536 bit crypto-currency, probably the only one of it’s type in the world currently. Temporal based mining.

I have no idea what all this Bitcoin mining stuff means except that it sounds to me like the same old story wherein the slaves do all the work and some entity has figured a way to siphon the rewards from that work into his own wallet, leaving the slaves no better off than they would be doing nothing. If this is so then maybe these rewards should go into paying the slaves for work they have done. If it is impossible to determine who did what work then maybe the Bitcoin (etc.) profits could go into a worldwide basic income fund that would be overseen by the United Nations, shared equally among countries of the world and used to feed, shelter and educate their citizens.

no, its pure socialism taught by someone who doesnot have a clue what such ideas brings to people. the most arrogant and discriminative relations and the deepest slavery. i lived 30 years under socialistic slavery and i experienced this, not like the home-grown-wanna-be-equall girl, not touching reality.

This is just my opinion, but i think you should add Webchain to the list; it’s the ultimate CPU mineable cryptocurrency, based on a modified CryptonightV7 egalitarian PoW algorithm which is also ASIC resistant. You can find more information about this amazing own-blockchain based cryptocurrency at webchain.network/
